"The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: 'He is good; His love endures forever!' Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud." 2 Chronicles 5:13
Can you imagine a place and time where the presence of the LORD is so strong, so thick that the atmosphere is filled with a cloud (His glory...His very presence)? This is possible and the Bible gives us references of what must take place beforehand! Dear LORD, may we humble ourselves and pray, turning from our wicked ways. And may You fill our lives, our homes, our churches, our streets, our cities and our nations with a Holy visitation once more!
As worship leaders THIS IS OUR PASSION! To lift up our voices and instruments to our LORD giving him all the praise, honor and glory due His name! I believe each time we come together we should praise Him and worship Him with our whole being, as if this will be our last time before meeting Him face to face!
HOL MUSIC/ARTS Vision Statement
It is my desire for the Hearts of Love Music/Arts Ministry:
• To provide an atmosphere that encourages uninhibited and exuberant praise and worship to our Lord where people’s lives can be forever changed by His presence. Scripture tells us God inhabits the praises of His people and where His spirit is there is FREEDOM! This "place" is where life changing transformation occurs.
• To be a ministry full of joy and enthusiasm where those with like passions and talents can and will want to join in with us to serve Him and the body of Christ.
• To surpass the realm of “entertainers” becoming singers and musicians that are sold out and consumed with truly worshiping our Lord in spirit and in truth. Understanding and recognizing our Calling as a worshiper is three-fold: Upwards, which is ministering to Him, Inwards, which is Him ministering to us and then and only then Outwards, which is Him ministering through us meeting the peoples needs.
• To raise up an army of confident worship leaders of all ages, races and social backgrounds who will boldly minister in their “Calling” with the power and authority invested in them by our Lord Jesus Christ…taking back and possessing all territory and ground our feet cover…first here locally in the church, then our surrounding community, the city and then throughout all the nations.
Spiritual growth (Relationally as well as in the Word of God),
• To be “pioneers of worship” who take back the music and the arts from the enemy who has prostituted and defiled it and once again with complete purity & integrity blaze a trail for others that will lead them directly back to the Lord…back to the heart of worship! (Just like in the days of King David!)
• To lead by example. Praise and worship is a lifestyle. Not just something we do on a Sunday morning or during any given service. It is a "way of life." Something we do 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When that “lifestyle of worship” is exhibited that’s when we know we’ve crossed over and a true worshiper has been birthed!
